Conference Structure

Our plan is having an hybrid conference. This means that people can attend face-to-face, being in Barcelona, or online.

The conference will take place during three consecutive days (from Tuesday 6th September to Thursday 8th September 2022). The structure of each day will be the following:

- Contributed sessions and keynote presentations will be in the morning in Europe, starting at 9:00 CEST (see in your local time) to 13.00 CEST.
- For those in Barcelona, each afternoon we'll have an activity related with the conference topics. These activities will allow you to access places and experiences not usually available (we're still preparing these activites, and we'll keep you informed on this website).

How sessions work

Sessions in the morning will start with contributed papers. Each submission will have the following components:

- A paper
- A video presentation

Papers and short videos prepared by the authors will be available before the conference, so that participants in a session can watch the presentations before the session. The time in the session will be used for a short 2-3 minutes summary by the authors, and discussion. Both participants onsite and online will be able to interact live, as we'll have camera and microphone to share what's hapenning in the room.

Sessions in the morning will end with a keynote presentation. Keynote presentations will be streamed for participants being online. Delegates onsite in the auditorium will be able to ask questions and participate, those online will have access to a chat facility to pose questions.

For those in Barcelona, discussions inspired by the keynote presentation can continue during lunch, which will be included with the registration fee.
