Barcelona is easily reachable by plane, train, bus or car. For more information on how to get to Barcelona, check http://meet.barcelona.cat/en/visit-barcelona/how-to-get-to-barcelona
One option to get to the city centre from the airport is taking the Aerobus, which costs 5,90 €, single ticket, or 10,20 €, return ticket. More information can be found here: aerobusbarcelona.es/?lang=en. There’s also a metro line arriving to Terminal 1 and a train line arriving to Terminal 2, but these options are not very recommended, as they are slower than the bus. Taking a taxi from the airport is obviously very comfortable, but more expensive (the price depends on where you go in the city, but it’s about 30 €).
Metro, buses and tram are the best way to move around the city. You can buy a T-casual card in any metro or tram station (not at buses). This is an individual travel card allowing 10 journeys, costs 11,35 € and can be used in all public transportation (metro, buses and trams). Another option is buying the Hola Barcelona Travel Card, a unipersonal card that gives you unlimited trips during 2, 3, 4 or 5 consecutive days.
